Photos From The 2016 Annual Joint Banquet of Atlanta Consistory #24-A and Esther R. Walters Assembly #24-A

Our annual joint banquet was a huge success.  Commander In Chief, Joel West presided over a spectacular evening.  There was a crowing ceremony of new 32 degree Scottish Rite masons and also a presentation to this year's recipient of the Benjamin P. Barksdale Scholarship.  

​​This year's awardee is Derrick Abrams, Jr.  He is the son of our dearly departed Brother, Sublime Prince Derrick Abrams, Sr.  $1500 was awarded to Derrick, Jr. and Past CIC Barksdale announced that even more funds will be raised for next year which will allow for more than one recipient.  We are very proud of the work that Prince Hall Scottish Rite masons are doing.  

Many awards were given to deserving Brothers and to Sisters of the Assembly.  Scottish Rite Mason of The Year Award was given to SP, Jason Russell, who also serves as the consistory's KSA.  Please view photos from the event and make sure that if you didn't attend this year, that we see you next year.
