Atlanta Consistory 24-A Hosts The 2025 GA Council of Deliberations

​In late February 2025, Atlanta Consistory No. 24A had the distinct honor of hosting the 72nd Reunion of the Georgia Council of Deliberation (COD) and the 62nd Annual Session of the Georgia State Grand Assembly. This prestigious event, held from February 27 to March 2, 2025, brought together members of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Prince Hall Affiliated, Southern Jurisdiction, to engage in meaningful discussions, fellowship, and the advancement of Masonic principles.

Event Overview

The sessions convened at the Atlanta Airport Marriott Hotel, located at 4711 Best Road, College Park, GA 30337. The official opening took place on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 9:00 AM. Attendees included COD officers, State Grand Loyal Lady Ruler, State Assembly officers, Commanders-in-Chief, Loyal Lady Rulers, Area Coordinators, Illustrious Sirs, Sublime Princes, and Loyal Ladies, all dedicated to the mission and values of Freemasonry.

Significant Highlights

Leadership: The event was graced by the presence of Sovereign Grand Inspector General (S.G.I.G.) Primus T. James, 33°, Active, who serves as the Deputy for the Orient of Georgia. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in guiding the Orient's activities and initiatives. 

Venue and Accommodations: The choice of the Atlanta Airport Marriott Hotel provided attendees with convenient access and comfortable accommodations, fostering an environment conducive to productive meetings and networking opportunities.
