Roderick Kimble

​GIG Roderick Kimble served with distinction as Commander in Chief of Atlanta Consistory 24A during the 2025 Masonic year. His tenure was marked by a deliberate focus on the continued rebuilding of the Consistory and on restoring its operational strength in the post-pandemic era.

Under his leadership, concerted efforts were made to return the Consistory to the standards and practices that existed prior to COVID. Notable accomplishments included replacing furniture and ceremonial items that were damaged or lost during the relocation from 330 Auburn Avenue to the Grand East, including the acquisition of a new altar Bible, scepter, lieutenant swords, and the proper jewels for the Lodge of Perfection.

He also oversaw the purchase of new Scottish Rite rituals and syllabi to replace materials that were not returned to the Consistory, implemented an asset-tagging system to ensure all Consistory property was properly inventoried and accounted for, and successfully hosted the Council of Deliberation in collaboration with Esther R. Walters Assembly 24A.

​Additionally, he established a Prayer Request and Devotion section within the GroupMe platform to strengthen fellowship and spiritual support, led the initiative for all houses of the Consistory to submit advertisements for the 139th Annual Session USC Souvenir Journal, and consistently encouraged and motivated all houses to elevate the quality of degree work and lectures.
